Depending on your needs, we can begin as early as the next day. We understand how overwhelming enrolling in home support can be, so we do our best to be flexible and start quickly.
How are your staff screened?

All staff complete in-person interviews, reference checks, credentials validation, and vulnerable sector police background checks. We also provide ongoing supervision and monitoring.
Do you accept insurance or government funding?

Yes. We work with Veterans Affairs Canada (we are an Approved Registered Veterans Provider), WSIB, and private health insurance. We can also help navigate available Ontario government funding programs.
What areas do you serve?

We serve Erieau, London, Blenheim, Chatham-Kent, and surrounding Ontario communities. Call us to confirm service availability in your specific area.
Can I request a specific caregiver?

Yes. We do our best to match you with a caregiver who has the right skills and personality. If you've had a previous caregiver from our team, we'll try to arrange continuity of care.
What if I need to change or increase care hours?

Simply call us. We are flexible and can adjust your care plan, add services, or increase hours — often with same-week or next-day changes.
Do you support long-term care facilities?

Yes. Our Staffing Relief service provides PSWs, RNs, and RPNs to long-term care homes and retirement facilities facing staffing shortages.
How does the Senior Health Club / Fitness Centre work?

Our Senior Health Club at the Erieau clinic is open to the public. Members access fitness equipment, supervised programs, and socialization activities. Call 519-854-1355 for details.
What chronic conditions do you support?

Our team supports clients with hypertension, COPD, CHF, diabetes, cancer, kidney failure, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, and more.
Is Advanced Foot Care available at home?

Yes. Our Advanced Foot Care service can be delivered in-clinic or in your own home — assessment and treatment of corns, calluses, nail conditions, and diabetic foot care.
What is HCOW Foundation GON?

HCOW Foundation GON is the charitable foundation arm of HomeCare on Wheels. It funds community health programs and extends care to those who cannot afford private home care.
